Chris has been working in the area of communication skills for more than 20 years. After training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school, he pursued a career as an actor, director and producer for 18 years appearing on stage, TV, film and radio as well as devising shows and presenting them in the UK, Norway and Canada.

He began working as a communication coach in 1997 and formed CBA Ltd in 2007. With a core group of clients including Lloyds Banking Group, KPMG, Halma Plc and Möet-Hennessy, Chris specialises in 1-1 coaching, developing his clients’ confidence and ability in a number of different areas. Preparing for a challenging job interview or presenting to a large international audience, building presence and leadership skills, dealing with the media or becoming more confident at networking events are all examples of the ways in which Chris helps to develop his clients’ potential.

Sian has been involved with coaching and drama-based training for more than 20 years and joined CBA in 2008. She trained as an actor at The Arts Educational School, London and has a teaching qualification and CBT Counselling diploma. After 5 years working at Lloyds of London, Sian was eager to use her skills and experience in coaching individuals to be as effective as possible. She has gone on to work as a facilitator and coach, using the skills and experience obtained in a wide variety of industries. In addition to 1-1 coaching, Sian has a wide experience of developing successful programs for large and small groups, such as the training days for Möevenpick Hotels and Resorts delivered to a sales team of 36 in Paris and Istanbul.

Sian also works as a presenter at large high profile corporate/retail events, often combining this with speaker training for others taking part.

A qualified singer and performer, an experienced singing teacher and vocal coach, Melissa became an associate in 2013 when she joined the team as a coach and vocal specialist.

She has since gone on to combine her private coaching with her work as a communication coach for CBA. She has delivered work at organisations including the Bank of England, Coller Capital and Mövenpick. She believes passionately that effective and authentic communication is a life skill, essential to success in all things, and this philosophy remains at the centre of her work no matter what the setting.

As a vocal specialist, Melissa is able to work with individuals to develop vocal confidence, range and projection. Her expertise in the area of understanding of the voice as an instrument enables her to focus in on any particular vocal issues and help her clients to develop techniques to overcome them. She regularly works with professional singers and actors preparing for auditions, runs vocal workshops and seminars and coaches vocal ensembles and casts.
